Abstract
Objective To assess the longterm results in the endoscopic surgery of inverted papilloma of the nasal cavity and nasal sinuses.Methods A retrospective analysis of 40 cases of patients who underwent endoscopic surgery to treat inverted papilloma of the nasal cavity and nasal sinuses.Results All 40 patients were operated by the intranasal endoscopic approach,the duration of follow-up was 12~36 months.Only 10 cases had recurrence 3~12 months post operation,all of which were then cured by intranasal endoscopic approach.No patient was lost to follow-up.No serious complications were found in this study.Conclusion Inverted papilloma can be addressed endoscopically when possible,and very good results could be acheived in low Krouse stage.
