Effect observation of carboprost methylate suppository combined with Oxytocin on postpartum hemorrhage prevention

Objective To observe the clinical effect of carboprost methylate suppository combined with Oxytocin on postpartum hemorrhage prevention.Methods 452 transvaginal delivery cases were randomly divided into A group(the carboprost methylate suppository group) and B group(the Oxytocin group) and C group(the carboprost and Oxytocin group).The postnatal hemorrhage amounts,the third stage time of labor and side reaction were observed.Results The amount of vaginal bleeding of within 2 hours and 2-24 hours in group C was less than those in group B and C(P0.05),there was no significant difference between group A and group B(P0.05);The third stage time of labor was less than that in group B and C(P0.05),there was no significant difference between group A and group B(P0.05);There was no obvious difference in the side reaction among group A,group B and group C(P0.05).Conclusions The use of carboprost methylate suppository combined with Oxytocin can prevent postpartum hemorrhage,shorten the third stage of labor and has no evidence of side reaction.
