Abstract
【Objective】 To investigate probability and the clinical effect of simultaneous bilateral minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy(MPCNL) in treating upper urinary tract calculi.【Methods】 28 cases underwent Simultaneous bilateral MPCNL in one session from July 2001 to May 2004 were reviewed.【Results】 All cases were successful. The total stone-free rate was 85.7%(48/56),No severe complication happened.【Conclusions】 Simultaneous bilateral MPCNL in treating upper urinary tract calculi is safe, highly effective and of short hospitalization in appropriate patients.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
