Abstract

Objective To discuss the effect of integrated traditional Chinese medicine therapy in the treatment of endometriosis complicated by infertility. Methods 62 cases of patients with endometriosis and infertility admitted in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups, 31 cases in the Chinese medicine group were treated with integrated therapy of TCM, and 31 cases in the control group were treated with Gestrinone. After the treatment in accordance with the standards of the efficacy of statistics, finally the effect was compared between the groups by statistical methods. Results Of the Chinese medicine group, 16 cases were marked effective, 10 cases were effective, the total effective rate was 83.9%, compared with those of the control group, there was no statistical difference between the groups in curative effect(P0.05). During the treatment, 3 patients in the Chinese medicine group were found to have adverse drug reactions(9.7%), while in the control group, 13 cases had adverse drug reactions(41.9%), the difference was statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion Integrated therapy of TCM in the treatment of endometriosis complicated by infertility has satisfactory clinical efficacy and lower side effects.
