Abstract

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of Adefovir Dipivoxil combined with Qianggan capsule in the treatment of chronic hepatitis-B cirrhosis. Method Forty-seven patients with chronic hepatitis B cirrhosis were randomly divided into the treatment group (n=26) and the control group (n=21). The two groups were given long-term treatment of Adefovir Dipivoxil (10 mg/d) on the basis of conventional therapy, such as liver protection and other symptomatic treatment. The treatment group was treated with Qianggan capsule three times daily on the basis of the control group. The course of treatment was 24 weeks. Results After treatment, the cases in the two groups got decreased Child-Pugh score, improved liver function, declined HBV-DNA load, and the matching difference was significant (P0.01). The decreased value of spleen thickness and liver fibrosis index in the treatment group was superior to the control group, and the difference between the two groups was significant (P0.01,P0.05).Conclusion Adefovir Dipivoxil combined with Qianggan capsule in treating chronic hepatitis-B cirrhosis can significantly enhance the therapeutic effect of liver fibrosis, coordinately improve liver function, and supply security in clinical application.
