Effect of prenatal health education and intervention on the delivery mode and postpartum lactation of pregnant women

Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of prenatal health education and intervention on the delivery mode and postpartum lactation of pregnant women.Methods:124 primiparous women were divided into two groups: 62 cases in observation group received prenatal health education and intervention,while 62 cases in control group only received routine knowledge and education;the delivery modes,the duration times of labor course and postpartum lactation times in the two groups were compared and observed.Results:The rate of natural delivery in observation group was higher than that in control group(P0.05).The rate of cesarean section in observation group was lower than that in control group(P0.05).There was no significant difference in vaginal delivery rate between the two groups(P0.05).The duration times of the first stage of labor,the second stage of labor and postpartum lactation time in observation group were shorter than those in control group(P0.05).Conclusion:Prenatal health education and intervention can improve the natural delivery rate,shorten the duration time of labor course and postpartum lactation time,which is worthy to be popularized in clinic.
