Clinical Study on Nifedipine Release Tablets Combined with Losartan in the Treatment of Essential Hypertension

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of nifedipine release tablets combined with losartan in the treatment of essential hypertension. Methods Selecting 60 patients with essential hypertension in the hospital from Jan,2010 to May,2014. 60 cases with lots of ways are divided into three groups combined group nifedipine group and losartan group,with 20 cases in each group. The combined group using nifedipine combined with losartan in combination therapy with nifedipine,nifedipine group,losartan group were treated with losartan.The treatment period of three groups was 8 weeks,and patients in 3 groups had blood pressure test every day. If the treatment effect was poor,the dosage could be increased. Results It is found that the total effective rate of patients in the combined group reached 95%; the total effective rate in the nifedipine group reached 50%; the total effective rate in the losartan group reached 60%. Blood pressure decreased in the three groups,and the combined group blood pressure decreased most obviously. Conclusion The clinical curative effect of nifedipine release tablets combined with losartan in the treatment of essential hypertension is better than the single use of nifedipine GITS and separate use of losartan in the treatment of essential hypertension.
