Clinical Observation of 35 Cases with Severe Acute Organophosphorus Pesticide Poisoning Treated with Combination of Hemodialysis and Hemoperfusion

Abstract

Objective To explore the curative effect of patients with severe acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning(AOPP) by means of combined treatment of hemodialysis (HD)and hemoperfusion(HP). Methods 69 patients with severe AOPP were at random divided into two groups,The treatment group was treated with combined HD and HP with routine therapy, The control group was only treated with HP and routine therapy. Results The time of patients regaining consciousness, cholinesterase resuming and hospitalization in the treatment group were shorter than that in the control group(p0.05). And the cure rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(p 0.01). Conclusions For the patients with severe AOPP, combined treatment of HD and HP may short the time of hospitalization and improve the cure rate.
