On the Translator's subjectivity in the Perspective of Literary Translation Dimension

Abstract

As the subijet of translation,the translator may take different translation strategies to translate different kinds of literary versions according to his translation purposes.By analyzing the Skopos theory and translator's subjectivity,this paper classifies the dimension of the translation purposes and exemplifies its representations in several parts.This paper concludes that the exertion of translator's subjectivity is not arbitrary,which is determined by the dimension of the translation purposes.
