Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of application for excision and biopsy of the breast lesions using mammotome under ultrasound - guided. Methods 455 cases with 667 breast lesions underwent minimally invasive surgery under ultrasound guided mammotome. It's value using in breast surgery were evaluated. Results 52 Histological probe sample examination was malignant lesions,2 chronic purulent inflammation, and 615 benign change.52 breast cancer cases underwent the second open surgery. The post - operative histological diagnosis was confirmed by mammotome biopsy in all cases. With post -operative follow up at 3,6 month,no operative residual breast lesions were found by the ultrasound examination in all cases with benign change. Conclusion Ultrasound - guided mammotome can perform the minimally in vasive surgery of total resection breast lesions and a determinative histopathologic diagnosis can be obtained.
