Feedback——A Key Point In Teaching College English Writing

Abstract

English writing is a key point in teaching English and also a vital criteria to rate students' language level. This paper which starts from the current situation of English writing teaching in China, points out that writing teaching in China should lay an importance on feedback, no matter whether it is the teacher's feedback or students' feedback on feedback. For both of them help to build students' writing skill. Meanwhile it emphasizes the prompteness, encouragement, enlightenment, and foculization during the process of writing teaching.
