Clinical observation on treatment of acne vulgaris with qi and yin deficiency by Jingqi Xiaocuo decoction taking orally combining wet dressing of Chinese herbs

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of Jingqi Xiaocuo decoction taking orally combining wet dressing of Chinese herbs in treatment of acne vulgaris with qi and yin deficiency.Methods We selected 62 acne patients and they were all in qi and yin deficiency type. They were randomly divided into treating group and control group. 31 patients in treating group were treated by Jingqi Xiaocuo decoction taking orally combining wet dressing of Chinese herbs, and other 31 cases in control group were treated by Minocycline capsules taking orally combining Clindamycin Phosphate Gel application. Then contrast the clinical effect of tow groups. Results The total effective ratio in treating group was 93.55%, and 83.87% in control groups(P0.05). The results of evaluation proved that the clinical effect of Jingqi Xiaocuo decoction taking orally combining wet dressing of Chinese herbs was superior to modern medicine, and there were not any obvious adverse effects.Conclusion Jingqi Xiaocuo decoction taking orally combining wet dressing of Chinese herbs has a definite effect in treatment of acne vulgaris with qi and yin deficiency. It deserves the further development and use.
