Clinical Observation on 56 Cases of Acne Vulgaris Treated with Xiaocuo Decoction and Ear Acupoint Bloodletting

Abstract

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Xiaocuo decoction and ear acupoint bloodletting on acne vulgaris.Methods 110 cases of acne vulgaris were randomly divided into treatment group(n=56) and control group(n=54),and the cases in treatment group were treated with Xiaocuo decoction and ear acupoint bloodletting while the control group were treated with Roxithromycin by mouth and external use 1.5% chlorine surname tincture.Results The total effective rate was 92.86% in the treatment group with significant difference as compared with those in the control group 77.78%(P0.05).Conclusion Xiaocuo decoction and ear acupoint bloodletting has a good therapeutic effect on acne vulgaris.
