The combination of traditional Chinese and Western medical treatment in 60 cases of acute pharyngitis

Objective To observe the clinical effect of the combination of traditional and Westem medicine in treating acute pharyngitis. Method recipe selects“sixtaste herb decoction from `Secrets of throat therapy'. Chinese medicine plus gargle and Hua Su tables kept in munth, vs the group of 60 patients taking only western medicine. Result treatment group 60 people, total effective rate was 86.6%, control group, 30 people, total effective rate was 53.3%. Conclusion the combination of traditional Chinese and Westem medical in treating acute pharyngitis resulted in a shorter course and had faster effect than westem medicine alone.
