Abstract

Objective To investigate high risk human papillomavirus(HPV) prevalence and HPV genotypes distribution in cervical lesions of different age groups. Methods 328 women with cervical lesions were selected for 13 high risk HPV genotypes detected by HybriMax.Results HPV infection was detected in 212 of 328 eases(64.6%) with cervical lesions,158(74.5%) cases of single infection,54(25.5%) cases of multiple infections.High risk HPV infection in cervicitis, cervical condyloma, CIN I-Ⅲ and cervical carcinoma were 26.0%(25/96),62.5%(40/64),85.2%(115/135) and 97.0%(32/33) respectively, and there were statistical significances(P0.01).11 types of high risk HPV genotypes were identified in cervical lesions, they were HPV-16,18,31,33,39,51,52,56,58,59,68.Common genotypes in cervical carcinoma were HPV-16(72.7%),HPV-58(9.1%),HPV-59(6.1%),HPV-18(3.0%)and HPV-52(3.0%).The positive rates of HPV at different age groups, aged 20~30,31~40,41~50,50 years old were 60.0%,79.4%,70.1% and 44.3%.Conclusion High-risk HPV infection genotypes HPV-16,58 and 52 are the most common,20 to 50 age group is the peak of infection, continuous high risk HPV infection and multi-infection results in cervix canceration.
