Abstract

As one of the variants in linguistic functions,English for business correspondence falls into English for special purpose.Business English correspondence has the unique field of discourse,mode of discourse and tenor of discourse.These contextual variants decide the stylistic features in vocabulary,sentences and discourse of business English correspondence.Language expressions are subject to variation of communicative contexts.
