On Style and Linguistic Features of Business English Discourses

This article give the brief introduction to the language and stylistic features of business English discourse.Business English,such as business letters,agreements,contracts,advertisements,documents and business speech,belongs to the category of practical writings which have their common styles.Business English language is characterized by conciseness,tightness and politeness.Types of discourse is basic factors constituted the discourse,and it plays a restricting role on the structure of the discourse expression,and the discourse mode is the result of this restriction.
