Only basic care was on control group. Compared the anxiety and depression of observation group after intervention with before intervention and control group, analyzed the improvement of anxiety and depression of observation group. Results The anxiety score and depression of observation group after intervention(49.86±6.52) and(48.86±5.73) points were significantly lower than that of observation group before(63.12±9.18) and( 63.28±9.62) points and control group(55.13±9.52) and(57.18±8.93) points. The improvement rate of anxiety and depression of observation group(88.00%) was significantly higher than that of control group(46.00%). Conclusion Health education and mental nursing intervente desirable a good effect on anxiety and depression of maintenance hemodialysis patient. It is worthy of recommendation.
