Abstract

Objective To explore the nursing intervention on anxiety,depression and social function in patients with epilepsy.Methods 60 patients with epilepsy were randomly divided into two groups(the control group and the observation group).Two groups of patients were given the same health education,but only the implementation of nursing intervention on the observation group.An evaluation was conducted at the year-end.Self-rating depression scale(SDS),Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Social Disability Screening Schedule(SDSS) were used in two groups of patients before and after intervention.Results Scores of SAS and SDS and the incidence of anxiety and depression in the observation group were significantly lower than in the control group(P0.01),and score of SDSS was significantly lower than the control group(P0.01).Conclusion Nursing intervention in patients with epilepsy can improve anxiety,depression emotional,and have a positive role in functional recovery of the community.
