ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION IN PATIENTS WITH MAINTENANCE HEMODIALYSIS AND NURSING INTERVENTION

Abstract

Objective To investigate the status of anxiety and depression in patients with maintenance hemodialysis and discuss nursing intervention for such patients.Methods 60 patients with maintenance hemodialysis inpatients were included and given intervention on psychological,physiological,social behavior based on routine hemodialysis treatment and nurse.Depression Scale and Anxiety Scale were used to analyze the comparative score before and after nursing intervention.Results The scores on anxiety and depression in patients after nursing intervention were lower than those before nurse intervention.Differences were statistically significant(p0.01).Conclusion It is effective to decrease the incidence of anxiety and depression and improve the quality of life of by strengthening nursing intervention among the maintenance hemodialysis patients.
