Abstract

Twenty nine patients(thirty six eyes)were performed by the phacoemulsification with posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation after glaucoma surgery. After a mean follow-up period of 7 3 months(range 2 to 30 months),the corrected visual acuity in 97 22% of the patients reached to 0 1 or better. All eyes have normal IOP.Postoperative complication included hyphema(2 78%)and posterior capsule opacification(8 33%).The results suggest that careful selection of cadidates, the operators ,technology and incision for IOL implantation be cracial for successful cataract surgery in glaucoma patients.
