Abstract
Objective To investigate the cataract phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation surgery combined with glaucoma trabeculectomy efficacy. Methods A retrospective analysis of clinical data of 59 eyes, from 2004-09 to 2007-06,in our hospital, who adopted phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation and glaucoma trabeculectomy. To Observe intraocular pressure, visual acuity changes and complications after surgery. Results 0.05 to 0.1 in 2 eyes(3.39%);0.1 to 0.3 in 9 eyes(15.25%);0.3 to 0.5 in 20 eyes(33.40%);0.5 to 0.8 in 26 eyes(44.06%),among them,1.0 in 2 eyes(3.39%);The mean postoperative IOP(12.35±1.65)mmHg;seven eyes of corneal edema, iris reaction and lens membrane after 5 eyes of posterior capsule opacification two eyes, the treatment after the vision is significantly improved. Conclusion Combined glaucoma and cataract surgery is effective, although there are some complications, but timely treatment of complications can still receive satisfactory results. The method is an ideal surgical approach.
