Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention on diabetes patients. Methods 40 patients were randomly divided into observation group (20 cases) and control group (20 cases). The observation group received the nursing intervention by nurse-in-charge, while the control group received the conventional nursing bu nurses. All patients were followed up by charge nurse out of hospital 6 months later. Results The mastery of knowledge, self-care ability and effect of blood glucose control in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the differences had statistical significance (P0.05). Conclusions Effective nursing intervention methods can improve diabetic patients with health knowledge and self-care ability, increase treatment compliance, decrease the complication incidence and improve the quality of life.
