Abstract
We have cultured Lactobacillus bulgaricus,Lactobacillus acidophilus and Streptococcus ther mophilus in 5 L fermentor.The results showed that Lactobacillus acidophilus and Streptococcus thermophilus inhibited the growth of Lactobacillus bulgaricus in mixed cultivation,Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Lactobacillus acidophilus might promote the growth of Streptococcus thermophilus,Streptococcus thermophilus might promote the growth of Lactobacillus acidophilus,Lactobacillus bulgaricus have no effects on growth of Lactobacillus acidophilus.These results provided a foundation for further studies on mixed cultivation of these three lactic acid bacteria.
