Study on the Expenditure of Public Health in Shanghai Community Health Service Center

Objective To take a evaluation on the expenditure of public health in Shanghai Community health service center.Methods Self-designed questionnaires were used to measure and investigate the expenditure of public health of 10 Community health service centers in Shanghai.Results The total expenditure of public health service in the investigated 10 community health centers was 29,484,377 RMB,among which,chronic diseases management,planning immunity and other works account for 59.37% with 53.80 RMB per capita.Conclusion At present,the situation of incomes from medical treatment compensating the cost of prevention services exists in Shanghai Community Health Service Centers.The government should increase the budget of public health,strengthen the supervision on using the funding and spend it scientifically and reasonably.
