Investigation on present of urban community public health services in Nanning of Guangxi.

[Objective]To investigate the present situation and existing problems of community public health services in Nanning City,provide basis for promoting the development of public health services in urban communities in Guangxi,and give an impetus to equalization of public health.[Methods]One district was extracted from Nanning City for whole crowd random sampling.The contents of investigation was decided based on the[2007]No.26 and the[2008]No.34 documents of Guangxi Health Department.[Results]The districts in Nanning City had carried out community public health services in varying degrees.The community health service institutions run by public hospitals were a main form of the community health service institutions in Nanning,and the government adopted the purchasing service style for community health services.The government's allowance of public health can't be handed out to the community health service centers(stations)in enough quota,and the financial allocation was not timely.The facilities of public health were unreasonable.[Conclusion]The government supports community health service centers as the stress,which is correct.It is necessary for the government to further increase the intensity of sponsoring community health service centers,make them the mainstream.A community health service station doesn't possess the ability to alone accomplish the function ofsix in one.The government should bring community public health personnel into the support system of the national staff members.The government health administration and its CDC,mother and child health care centers and CHS need to form a mechanism for common management of community public health system.
