Clinical Effect of "Jianpi Qufeng Decoction" in Treating 95 Patients with Atopic Dermatitis

Objective: To explore the therapeutic effect of Jianpi Qufeng Decoction for atopic dermatitis(AD) of spleen-deficiency syndrome,and its influence on skin hydration and pH.Methods: One hundred and ninety-two patients with AD were randomly divided into treatment group(95 cases) and control group(97 cases).All the patients were treated with urea cream externally,besides the treatment group was treated with Jianpi Qufeng Decoction and the control group was treated with cetirizine,with a course of four weeks.The clinical effect was evaluated,and the skin hydration and pH were detected.Results: The total effective rates of treatment group and control group were 82.11% and 61.86% respectively,with statistical difference between two groups(P0.05).After treatment,the scores of SCORAD in both groups were significantly decreased(P0.05),and the scores of treatment group were lower than those of control group(P0.05).After treatment,the skin hydration was increased and the skin pH was decreased in both groups(P0.05),and there were statistical differences on skin hydration and pH between two groups(P0.05).Conclusion: Jianpi Qufeng Decoction has good effect on atopic dermatitis of spleen-deficiency type.
