Observation of the effect of racecadotril combined with cimitidine in the treatment of children with rotaviral enteritis

Objective To observe the effect of racecadotril combined with cimitidine in the treatment of infants with rotaviral enteritis.Methods One hundred and twelve infants with rotaviral enteritis were randomly divided into two groups,each 56.Conventional treatment included infusion to correct dehydration and acidosis, the treatment of symptoms and supportive management.On this basis, observation group took racecadotril and cimetidine and control group direct montmorillonite powder.Results The total effective rates of observation group and control group were 94.6% and 80.4% respectively, the difference of the therapeutic effect between the two groups was significantl(P 0.05).The observation group was better than control group.The adverse reaction rates in the obserration group and control group were 5.3% and 1.7% respectively.Conclusion The therapy of racecadotril combined with cimitidine was effective and safe for the treatment of infants rotaviral enteritis.
