Abstract
The legends of Tang dynasty have a great quantity, and complex content and reflect different moral concepts, ideology and life interests of writers. For readers to grasp ideological implications of Tang dynasty legends better, creation motives about Tang dynasty legends are in detail analyzed from recreation, calumny, Buddhism and Taoism, detesting the world, compensation and expression.
