The Influence of the Buddhism on the Creation and Theoretical Development of the Poetry of the Tang Dynasty

The Buddhism not only influenced the creation and theoretical development of the poetry of the Tang Dynasty widely and profoundly, but infiltrated it's people's moral quality. The Buddhism built a mental way to the other world for those frustated, depressed and hesitated people of the Tang Dynasty to maintain personal integrity. The Buddhism infiltrated into the fresh image of the poetry and formed an important part of the dynamic atmosphere of the Tang Dynasty. It provided a peculiar angle of view and inspiration for the theoretical formation and development of the poetry of the Tang Dynasty. Although religion and art share a common aspect, they have their own features: the essence of the former is reduced to the spirit, the essence of the latter is reduced to the beauty.
