Abstract
Objective:To investigate HER2,VEGF expression and MVD in gastric and the relationships between them and clinical pathology and biological characteristics.Methods:26 patients with gastric cancer,14 patients underwent total gastrectomy,12 patients with gastric biopsy, cancer center at a distance of 5 cm for the normal group,norm.RT-PCR Were detected to HER2 mRNA expression in gastric tissue;immunohistochemical was used to detect VEGF expression in gastric tissue;microvessel density calculated for each group. Results:Compared with the normal group, gastric cancer HER2 mRNA expression was significantly increased;normal gastric tissue VEGF average gray value of 21.51 ±4.64,and gastric cancer gastric tissue VEGF average gray value of 167.23 ±18.85,compared the two groups significantly difference;normal gastric tissue MVD was 13.44 ±5.34,compared with the normal group,MVD in gastric cancer group level(65.74 ±9.87 unit) was significantly higher;HER2 patients with TNM stage and positive correlation,VEGF and patient gender and TNM stage were positively correlated with the clinical and pathological features. Conclusions:Vascular endothelial growth factor expression and clinicopathological features of gastric cancer patients showed correlation show HER2 and VEGF has an important role in tumor development, which can be used as predictor's parameters of invasive cancer.
