Abstract

Objective:To explore and evaluate the comparability and bias of the results of TSH measured in two different immune luminescence analysis systems. Methods:According to the U.S.Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards(NCCLS) EP9-A2,9 clinic samples were detected in two kinds of different analysis systems(Siemens Immulite2000 and Roche E170) respectively everyday. The testing results of total 45 samples were recorded within 5 days. The testing results derived from two analysis systems were analyzed comparatively and their biases were evaluated. Results:The TSH results between the two detection systems were significantly different(P0.01),but the correlation between them was good. The regression equation was y=0.9639x+0.0453,R2=0.998.Use Siemens Immulite2000 analysis system as a control method, the TSH anticipated bias of Roche E170 was within allowed biases, which was acceptable by clinic. Conclusion:The TSH results between the two detection systems were significantly different, but it can be accepted by clinic.
