Analysis of Outpatient Prescriptions in Our Hospital in 2011

Abstract

Objective Understanding common problems in outpatient prescriptions in the hospital,improving the quality of prescriptions and standardizing the prescription management by analyzing outpatient prescriptions,so as to promote the rational use of drug.Methods Judging and analyzing 10950 random samples of outpatient prescriptions from Jan to Dec in 2011.According to measures for the administration of prescriptions,measures for the administration of prescriptions in hospital,and guiding principles for clinical application of antibacterial etc.Results There were 445 unreasonable prescriptions(4.06percent),216 nonstandard prescriptions(48.54percent),212 inexact prescriptions(47.64percent) and 17 excess prescriptions in the 10950 random samples.Conclusion The outpatient prescriptions in the hospital is basically rational,but there were still problems;improving the quality of prescriptions and strengthen prescription examination is still necessary.
