Abstract
Cortex Pseudolaricis Chinese drug disinfectant is a solution prepared from the alcohol extract. Carrier quantitative germicidal test was used to observe its efficacy in killing Candida albicans. Results: Its 30%(v/v) solution with a 2 min contact time killed over 99.90% in average of Candida albicans on carrier. Calf serum protection had severe influence on germicidal efficacy of the disinfectant. The germicidal efficacy of its stock solution did not decrease obviously after storing at 54℃ for 14 days. Conclusion: This Chinese drug disinfectant has good efficacy in killing Candida albicans and is stable in property.
