Construction of physical education teachers' professional standards based on teachers' professional standards

In the context of the professional standards of primary and secondary schools and kindergartens teachers(consultation paper) were introduced,based on the comprehensive understanding of the background of relevant domestic and international PE teachers’professional development,current status and the connotation of professional standards,using the method of literature,questionnaire,interviews,etc.This paper focused on the necessity and feasibility of the construction of physical education teachers’ professional standards,as a result,construction of physical education teachers’professional standards is the educational needs of physical education teachers,in line with the international trend of professional development of physical education teachers,meeting the needs of Curriculum Reform in Physical Education,and also it’s an effective way to enhance the physical education teachers of occupational prestige,and expand the employment of physical education teachers as well.China’s education regulations and policies,foreign experience of teachers’professional development and the theoretical research and practical needs of our PE teachers’literacy requirements made the construction of physical education teachers’professional standards possible.
