Abstract
Professional Teaching Standards is an important guarantee for the professional development of teachers,the paper reviews the framework of professional standards for teachers in Australia:principles of development of professional standards for teachers,stage of teacher professional development;elements of the composition of the teaching profession.On this basis,summary and analysis three characteristics of professional standards for teachers:on the basis of the universality,another characteristic of Professional Teaching Standards is flexibility;importance of professional development of teachers;attention to the cultivation of teachers of professional communication.
