The effect of Yinzhihuangkoufuye on treating chronic hepatitis B with hyperbilirubinemia

Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of Yinzhihuangkoufuye on treating chronic hepatitis B with hyperbilirubinemiam.Methods 127 patients were randomly divided into two groups.The control group received triple medications of compound glycyrrhizin for injection,compound Danshen injection,and hepatocyte growth-promoting factors for injection.The treatment group received these three medications plus Yinzhihuangkoufuye.The levels of serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT) and bilirubin were evaluated after three weeks' treatment.Results The level of bilirubin were significantly decreased in the treatment group compared with that in the control group(P0.05).The two groups showed similar effect in decreasing the level of ALT,with no statistical significance identified(P0.05).Conclusion Yinzhihuangkoufuye is safe and effective in reducing serum bilirubin in chronic hepatitis B with hyperbilirubinemiam.
