Abstract

Objective To study the effect of simvastatin in the treatment of patients with hyperlipidemia and nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy. Methods 58 patients with hyperlipidemia and non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy in our hospital from July 2010 to October 2012 were randomly divided into control group(routine treatment intervention group)29 cases and observation group(routine treatment intervention combined with simvastatin group)29 cases. After 8 weeks of the treatment, the total treatment effective rate and blood lipid, microcirculation before and alter the treatment of two groups were compared. Results The total treatment effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group, improvement of blood lipid and microcirculation were bigger than those of control group, the differences were all statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion The effect of simvastatin in the treatment of patients with hyperlipidemia and non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy is better, and it can more effectively improve the disease state and microcirculation state.
