Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of simvastatin on microalbuminemiauria in early diabetic nephropathy. METHOD 50 cases with early diabetic nephropathy were divided into two groups: the 22 cases in control group were given general treatment, the 28 cases in treatment group were given tab simvastatin 20mg po qn for 4 weeks.RESULTS The microalbuminemiauria were significantly lower in treatment group than that of in control group after 4weeks of treatment( P 0.01).CONCLUSION Simvastatin can reduce microalbuminemiauria in early diabetic nephropathy.
