The effect of Yishen Jiedu Tongluo Recipe on tumor necrosis factor-α in diabetic nephropathy rats

Objective:To observe the effect of Yishen Jiedu Tongluo Recipe(YSJDTLR) on tumor necrosis factor-α in diabetic nephropathy rats.Methods:The diabetic nephropathy models of rats(n=60) were produced by inducement of Streptozotocin(50 mg/kg).The blood glucose,glycol-hemoglobin,TC,TG,BUN,SCR,the level of 24 h Urine protein,tumor necrosis factor-α,and Urine protein were measured at 12 weeks after ml/kg) were treated with rats.TNF-α was measured by methods of radioimmunoassay.Results:The blood glucose,glycol-hemoglobin,tumor necrosis factor-α,TC,TG,BUN,SCR and Urine protein were decreased after YSJDTLR(10 ml/kg) treatment compared with the DM group.Conclusion:The study suggests that YSJDTLR has protective effect on DM rats.The mechanisms might related to the regulation of glucose metabolism and lipid metabolism,and the improvement of kidney function,also decrease of TNF-α.
