Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of Xiaodan granules on renal function of rats with chronic renal failure(CRF) induced by adenine.Methords Except for the normal control,rats with CRF induced by adenine were randomly divivded into five groups: model,low-,mediate-,high-dosage of Xiaodan granules and positive control group that was treated with Niaoduqing granules.Corresponding drugs were given to these five groups for 30 days,The serum SCr,BUN and UA,RBC,HGB,Hct were observed to find differences.Results Compared with the model group,SCr,BUN and UA were significantly decreased,while RBC,HGB and Hct were increased in all the treated CRF rats.Conclusion Xiaodan granules have definitely therapeutic effect on CRF of rats caused by adenine.Furthermore,Xiaodan granules display a similar effect to Niaoduqing granules.
