The effect of TVT-O treatment on female stress urinary incontinence and evaluation of it's efficacy

Abstract

Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of transobturator tension- free vaginal tape( TVT- O) treatment on female stress urinary incontinence( SUI). Methods: Clinical data of 30 cases of female SUI treated with TVT- O were retrospectively analyzed. Results: The operation time were 15 ~ 40 minutes,the mean was 20 minutes. Pull out the after 3 ~ 8 d in postoperative,30 cases got satisfactory,symptoms of SUI patients were improved. Patients were followed up for 3 ~ 24 months,there was no recurrence and complications of urinary incontinence appeared. Conclusion: TVT- O treatment for female SUI patients has satisfactory curative effect,less complications,is good method to treat the female SUI patients.
