Abstract
Objective:To select experimental animal used in the antiaging test by comparison of natural aging mice and D-galactose aging-mice mode. Methods:The contents of Malondialdehyde(MDA) in liver and the activities of Superoxide Dismatase(SOD) in red blood cell both in natural aging-mice and D-galactose aging-mice model were measured, and comparing with young mice control group. Results:The activity of SOD in serum in D-galactose-aging mice model is significantly decreased, but the content of MDA in liver is not increased. There is a significant difference between the young mice and natural aging mice both in the activity of SOD in serum and the content of MDA in liver. Conclusion:Natural aging mice is better than the D-galactose mice model as experimental animal used in the antiaging test.
