Abstract
Objective:To probe the machanism of antiaging of Tianditang. Method: D-galactose-induced mouse aging model was used. Given alcohol extract of Tianditang for 30 days, and the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the level of MDA in brain were measured. Results: Compared with model group, the extract enhanced the activity of SOD ( P 0. 01) and decreased the content of MDA ( P 0. 01). Conclusion: The alcohol extract of Tianditang can raise antioxidation activity of mouse brain and delay aging.
