Abstract
This paper deals with the determination of the content of insecticidal antibiotics-Meilingmycin by means of TLc-UV Spectrophotometry. In this method, n-hexane-acetone (yo 7∶3) was used as the developing solvent, the effective spots was scraped from the HF 254 silica-gel plate after the sample was expanded by dripping. The sample was dissolved in methyl alcohol. Its absorbanly was measured at the 244nm of UV. The content was measured by the standard curve. The operating carve was rectilineal within the range of 10-60μg. Its coefficient of correlation was r=0.9996; its average recovery ratio was 99.8%; and its coefficient of variation was less than 0.2%, This method is easy for operation, fast and accurate, hence fit for the determination of the content of Meilingmycin in the fermentation broth and end product.
