Abstract
Objective To study the relationship between acute myocardial infarctionm and prognosis of brain natriuret ic peptide.Methods One hundred patients with first acute myocardial infarction(observation group) and 100 cases with healthy physical examination(control group) in our hospital between January 2010 and January 2011 were cho sen.Then plasma BNP levels in both groups were analyzed,and cardiac event not occurring with plasma BNP level of the observation group were analyzed.Results The plasma BNP level in observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group.Furthermore,the plasma BNP level was significantly higher in patients with heart events than that in patients with no heart events.Conclusion Acute myocardial infarction is associated with plasma BNP,plasma BNP levels to assess the therapeutic effect and prognosis of patients with acute myocardial infarction.
