Efficacy of Combination of Bufexamac Cream and Hydrocortisone Butyrate Cream in the Treatment of Fackial Seborrheic

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of combination of bufexamac cream and hydrocortisone butyrate cream in treatment of Facial Seborrheic. Methods One hundred and thirty five patients with Facial Seborrheic were divided into treatment group and control group. Sixty seven patients were smeared with bufexamac cream and hydrocortisone butyrate cream for two weeks, then with bufexamac cream for two weeks only, and sixty eight patients were smeared with hydrocortisone butyrate cream for four weeks only. Results The clinical cure rate of bufexamac cream and hydrocortisone butyrate cream group was not higher than that of hydrocortisone butyrate cream group, with a no statistically significant differences between the two groups (P0.05). The recovery rate of treatment group was 18.46%,the control group was 35.39%,there were significant differences between two groups(P0.05).No serious side reaction was found in all patients. Conclusion The results suggest that combination of bufexamac cream and hydrocortisone butyrate cream is a safe and effective regimen in the treatment of Facial Seborrheic.
