The observation of efficacy for hydrocortisone butyrate cream in facial seborrheic dermatitis

Objective To investigate the efficacy and security for hydrocortisone butyrate cream in facial seborrheic dermatitis.Methods 124 cases of facial seborrheic dermatitis patients treated in our department from June 2007 to June 2009 were chosen as the research object.According to different methods of treatment,all patients were randomly divided into butyrate hydrocortisone group(A),fluorine fun that butyl acrylate group(B),hydrocortisone butyrate group that combined fun butyl fluoride group(C group).The symptom improvement and assessment of efficacy 2 weeks,3 weeks,4 weeks after treatment for the three groups of patients were compared.The recurrence rate after 3 months was followed-up.The adverse reactions of treatment and during follow-up were taken for statistics.Evaluate comprehensively the clinical effects and integrity for hydrocortisone butyrate cream in treatment of facial seborrheic dermatitis.Results The study showed that the lesion symptom improvement 2 weeks,3 weeks,4 weeks after treatment for patients of A and C was significantly better than B group.The total effective rate after 4 weeks for A,C group was significantly higher than in group B,the differences were significant(P0.05).There was statistically significant.There was no significant difference in efficiency for A,C group.The follow-up relapse rate for 3 months was compared,the relapse rate for B,C group was significantly lower than in group A,there was a significant difference.There was no significant difference between B,C groups.The adverse reactions for two groups of patients after treatment were skin burning sensation.And the incidence was no significant difference.Conclusions There are apid onset of efficacy and few side effects benefits for hydrocortisone butyrate cream in treatment of facial seborrheic dermatitis,that combined with acid ester ointment fluoride can significantly enhance its efficacy,and reduce lower recurrence rate.
