Effect of acitretin capsules combined with narrow-band ultraviolet B on psoriasis vulgaris

Objective To observe the effect of acitretin capsules combined with narrow-band ultraviolet B(NB-UVB) on psoriasis vulgaris.Methods Seventy-two patients were randomly divided into two groups,the treatment group accepted oral acitretin capsules,with NB-UVB irradiation.The control group accepted oral acitretin capsules only.Results The efficiency of the treatment group were higher than the control group at 4 and 8 weeks after treatment,inter-group difference were statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Acitretin combined with NB-UVB treatment of psoriasis vulgaris,can increase the sensitivity of light therapy to reduce the amount of light therapy and treatment time;and also can reduce the amount of acitretin,thereby reduce the occurrence of side effects,is worth promoting in clinical.
