Abstract

In recent years,porcine circovirus infection brought huge loss in swine industry.Porcine circovirus can cause serious diseases,such as: postweaning multisystemic wasting syndrome(PMWS),porcine dermatitis and nephropathy syndrome(PDNS),porcine respiratory disease complex(PRDC),etc.With more research progress based on PMWS,the study on PCV is in depth,relevant characteristics of the virus have been more clear.The article described characteristics of the virus,epidemiology,clinical symptoms,diagnosis and control measures.
